Meeting Minutes - March 2006

Present:  Brilliana, Arnora, Ailis, Bronislava and chocolate goo to die for, Vettoria, Kudrun, Gavin, Valgarth, Maewyn, Ruadhan

Officer reports

The usual suspects mostly rounded up. No substantial reports. Vettoria reported on The Shopping Trip, where we spent over $700 on trays, bowls, and spoons for feasts--enough to serve 80 without scrimping or borrowing.

New business

Tournament of Champions

• We will meet at Taylor on Friday, March 31.
• Kudrun will be there from 9 a.m. on, but others may arrive at their leisure.
• Shire members may stay overnight if they wish.
• Rides were arranged.
• Arnora will pick up some cleaning supplies that Taylor doesn't have (clean toilet brushes) and dish soap.
• Two people have asked for kitchen space for A&S projects.
• Post Office was closed so we couldn't look for preregistrations prior to the meeting.
• Bronislava's Mom will be recruited for head table decor.
• Arnora has a feast chart.
• Ailis will get deli goodies for royals as well as oranges etc for waterbearing.
• A portrait board with pics of who should be asked about what will be made on site, when we're in garb. (Arnora).
• Bronislava gave a short course in aiding and guarding royalty.
• Gavin is refitting his kit.
• Maewyn will be cooking for 50 unless we get some preregistrations.
• Kudrun gave directions to site.

Autumn Rose

• Now on the Northshield Calendar.
• That's enough until Tournament of Champions is done.

Other New Business

• The seneschals of Rokeclif and Rockwall were somehow allowed to converse at TMT, and renewed the possibility of an event called "Between a Rock and a Hard Place" which would forever clear up the confusion people have telling Rockwall, Rokeclif and Rockhaven apart.
• It would be an event on the silliness scale around that of Pie Snit.
• The group brainstormed bardic challenges (rock music) and special guests (The Rock).
• Time: June 2007. Place: Wilton.
